Personally, I don't think dinosaurs are 'famous'. But my brother is a paleontologist and he claims that the brachiosaurus is supposedly more famous than the diplodocus because a brachiosaurus looks like what everyone thinks a typical dinosaur looks like.

One of them is the brachisaurus nipped at its food on high branches, whilst diplodocus dragged it's teeth down and along branches sweeping the foliage off - so the diplodocus had different wear on it's teeth because of this and chewed whereas the brachisaurus had an up and down jaw motion to masticate it's food. Allegedly! - no one saw either one eat, we just have the evidence from their bones and teeth.
