The United Nations (UN) is an international organization whose stated aims are to facilitate cooperation in international law, international security, economic development, social progress and human rights issues.
The United Nations was founded in 1945 to replace the League of Nations, in the hope that it would intervene in conflicts between nations and thereby avoid war. The UN was formed with the cooperation of the worlds big powers and has been used ever since to legitimize the bullying tactics of these country's. to keep it looking better organizations like UNICEF were formed, very much in the spirit of the gangsters in organized crime organizations loudly and publicly showing how good they are by contributing to charity's.

∙ 11y agoThe United Nations was created after WWII in order to prevent those wars from happening again. You should research because the UN actually began as a trade group between a few counties and then grew into the UN as time progressed. But basically having one large alliance stopped the division that Europe had during the world wars.
