yes, it should be raised to 21 because it would make people walk more often instead of taking the car, it would also cut the number of deaths caused by teens driving, and it would make the road safer because the are not much teens speeding in the road.
I think the drinking age should be raised because people go round making a fool of themselves trying to think there all cool and every thing but apparently not they aren't cool because people don't think its cool to drink under the age limit even the age limited people aren't as smart or mature as they think they are they end up in cells wondering the next morning what had gone wrong and what had they done to couse them to be thrown in the cell well it was because of their own behaviour.
well this is my side of the story...
Whats yours??
The United States is facing a major crisis ¿ the loss of its democracy. At the core of this loss is the problem of youth apathy. Most young people just don't care. They seem to believe that the government and its policies don't really affect them or that the whole process is out of their hands. This however is only true when people are inclined to think that way. That is why we propose lowering the voting age in the US to the age of 13. We feel that if teenagers and young adults believe they are 1) important, 2) in control of their own lives and futures, and 3) part of the nation and their community, that the crisis of youth apathy will diminish greatly, or even disappear, voter turn out will increase (especially as this youth turns into the older generation), and our democracy will be enhanced in this country by injecting into it a new view, that of the young.
Absolutely not. Most 18 year olds cannot make rational decisions, let alone 13 year olds. At 13, you are still a minor in the eyes of the law, and I am sure it won't hurt to wait a few years.
No way. A person can go into the military, buy a home, sign any type of contract, and be completely accountable for all actions, should be allowed to vote on things that affect their livelihood and responsibilities in life.
You should not ask that kind of questions here.
It is not possible to get a definition on that, because it's dependen on peoples personal oppinions.
Until 1972, the voting age in the United States was 21 years. The 26th Amendment reduced the voting age to 18 years old.
Well, for safety reason's i guess the would be a suggestion. But if we did ALOT of people would be angry. That could lead into protesting.
21
At the age 18 there children are noticed as an adult and they would enjoy running there children places. the age 21 is the drinking age and all they are going to want to do is drink so imagain how that will turn out
no after age 21 the height is not increased.
you have to be 21 to drive in Cuba
No one should drink until at least the age of 21, and people should not drive unless they have a permit or their license.
probably after they decide to move the driving age to 21, as they are planning on doing.
Exercise does not make you taller. Doesnt matter how old you are.
Raising the drinking age from 18 to 21.
age 21 limit is .7 while driving
You can rent a performance truck anywhere (even in Ireland) if you are of legal driving age and possess a drivers license and are over the age of 21. (or legal driving age in your country)
The minimum drinking age in Illinois was established at 21 in 1961. In 1972 it was lowered to19 for beer and wine but remained at 21 for liquor. In 1980 the minimum drinking age in Illinois was increased to 21 for all alcoholic beverages.
17, but there is talk of it rising to 18 or even 21 but this is not true.
