The ship called "Big Mo" is actually the USS Missouri (BB-63). It is the battleship made famous because it is where the signing of the surrender with Japan was signed, ending World War 2 in the Pacific. Yes. She was, or rather is, the USS Missouri, America's last battleship, which was first commissioned in 1944, took part in World War 2 and Korea. Her last action was in the 1991 Gulf war. She is presently a museum ship at Pearl Harbor.
