We are on well water and lately it has left a red tint in our bath tub any ideas of why?
Sounds like an excess amount of iron which can stain fixtures red or a deep orange. You should get your water analyzed. You might need to install a home water treatment after analysis. Make sure your water treatment system is certified by NSF (National Science Foundation).
Yes. Drowning is not about the amount of water the person is in but how the water enters the persons system. If the child gets too much bath water in their lungs at once without being able to spit it out they can drown. But...a child should NEVER be left alone in a bath long enough for that to happen....PERIOD!
As many victorians did not have bathrooms, but only outside toilets andd no bath in the average household, they just used water left in the bath...most poor homes had a tin bath, that was filled from heating water up on a stove. Soap was available, and they used if they could afford it dry powder. They certainly did not have the vast variety of goods that we have today
Yes. The average temperature for a bath or shower is warmer than core body temperature. If a body is left in the tub for long periods of time, body temperature will begin to rise, just like anything else. Your body will react to maintain homeostasis, but its usually not enough to stop the rising temperature. Suggestion? Run a cooler bath, or add cold water if you are feeling too hot. If you are giving a…

What causes you to have a good supply of hot water at times and at other times barely have half a bath of hot water?
When there is not enough hot water, it probably is caused by someone using the hot water recently and the water heater is not large enough to provide hot water for both uses. The water heater will provide hot water as long as there is hot water in it. When there isn't any hot water left, it will provide cold water. It takes a while to heat the water after some is used.
They went to the public baths, or if they were wealthy, to the bath in their house, where basically they had their bodies oiled and then the oil scraped off. The oiling/scraping ritual removed the dirt and left the skin soft. Guinea pigs generally, like any other pet, should be bathed to keep clean and germ free. using a special small animal shampoo and warm water in a tub (preferably deep because they like to jump out) you can give them a quick bath. try not to get soap and/or water in their ears, eyes or mouth. on colder days after their bath guinea pigs should not be left wet; using a brush and blow dryer…
My hair has been falling out quiet a lot lately I don't understand why I am 14 I have never noticed so much hair loss before Help?
I had this problem before and I did not do anything about it and left it alone. But if you shower with hot water, this wouldn't work. You can shower with hot water but with cold water. I did this in 3 weeks and Hallelujah! It worked. And from now on I've been using cold and hot water but not too hot. And I hope this helped . x x
The rumours go that he had a bath once to twice a day - this was considered highly unusual for a man to do and largely effeminate. If this is all to be believed then one would assume the story regarding how, when he left France in 1204, he hurriedly took his Bath with him back to England. Hope that helps!
Which water you talking about? Under the kitchen sink there should be a C/W shut off If your talking toilet there should be a shut off left hand side under the tank. Shower or bath tub possibly integral stops Main cold water shut off Normally by the house trap. Multi story building a cold water riser
There are a few types of motorcycle accidents a motorcyclist must be aware of before heading out on the open road. The most common motorcycle accidents fall into one of three different categories. The first is when the motorcyclist has an accident that doesn't involve any other vehicle, but may involve an animal or an inanimate object. The second is when the motorcycle is involved in an accident with another vehicle. The third is when…

In electroplating, a dish is filled with a mixture of water and salt of the metal that is to be used as the coating. First make sure that the hot and cold supply lines (the plumbing) aren't backwards (hot should be on the left as you are facing the faucet) or that someone accidentally ran two hot lines. For the problem to be in the faucet itself you would have to have a single handle faucet. If this is the case the control valve is broken and should be replaced. Three handle Left= Hot Water Flow. Right= Cold Water…
Ideally, you should wash your bath towels within 24 hours - as the dampness remaining in the towels following a bath or shower, can - if left too long, cause the towels to become smelly, or even develop mildew. Of course follow the care labels on your towels, but it's best to wash in warm water, and without any fabric softener - which will remove the drying properties of your towels over time.
No. Any meat that is left out for more than three hours should definitely be thrown away. When the temperature of food stays above 41 degrees, that's when bacteria starts to grow and it spoils. You can get a few hours out of it, but definitely not overnight. Same if it was frozen. Always thaw frozen foods in the refrigerator or in an ice water bath.
