Anne Frank hid for 2 years, July 6th, 1942 to August 4th, 1944.

25 months (which is 2 years and 1 month) On August 4, 1944 a German policeman found the annex (which was the secret place that the Jews were hiding in) and arrested the people. They threw Anne's diary on the floor because she always kept it in her fathers briefcase and the German policeman used the brief case for the jewelery. Miep Gies went back later, rescued the diary and gave it to Anne's father after the war. He published the diary.

Two years and one month - almost to the day.

Anne Frank was in hiding from Monday, July 6th, 1942 until August 4th, 1944. In total, she was in hiding for 2 years and one month.
