If you watch Disney's Peter Pan, Captain Hook never gets eaten by the crocodile, he only tries to get away from the crocodile which tries to eat Captain Hook.
However, in almost every other retelling of Peter Pan, along with the original play and novel, Captain Hook gets swallowed whole by the Crocodile.

∙ 10y agoDepending on the version you are reading or watching, Captain Hook was actually eaten by a crocodile, except in the Disney movie version. After Peter Pan fed Hook's hand to the crocodile, it developed a taste for the villain. Hook was pushed to his death by Peter during their final duel. In the Disney Movie version, Captain Hook was chased away by the crocodile, but not eaten.

∙ 12y agoIt's actually a crocodile, and it's officially named "Tick-tock" in the comics that came out after the movie. It didn't have a name in the cartoon.

Then Peter Pan caught Captian Hook and the kids began to say "Hook is a codfish!" then Peter Pan kicked Captain Hook into the water and made an alligator eat Captain Hook. The name of the alligator from Peter Pan is Mr. Crocodile. And so Captain Hook is gone forever and ever. This movie was created by Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse.
