The manifold itself could be cracked. I have a 2000 Pathfinder LE with 100k miles and a 3.3. I noticed an antifreeze leak on the right side of the top of the engine. Using a mirror, I found that under the manifold, there was a nice crack.
Is it water ( condensation ) or is it antifreeze. If it is antifreeze it should be smoking WHITE out of the exhaust pipe and if it is then you have either a blown head gasket or a leaking Intake manifold gasket.
Yes. Antifreeze is actually pumped through the intake manifold. If the gasket is bad it is possible that it leaks out
If it is leaking from a bad head gasket, it is because of a bad head gasket. If it is leaking from a bad intake manifold gasket, it is because of a bad intake manifold gasket.
there is no water mixed with the oil but have antifreeze coming out of the exhaust
it could be a head leaking or the intake manifold, if its coming from the very top its most likely the intake manifold gasket
Think you may have bad head gasket, seal or cracked head. Water is getting into your engine which usually causes white smoke. Also leaking antifreeze is from these same causes. Hope this helps. Ken
Yes, you need to replace your intake gaskets.
most time it is caused by intake gasket failure
Most likely you are burning antifreeze. This could be cause by a leaking head gasket or an intake manifold gasket. This condition needs to be corrected quickly, as it could lead to catastrophic engine failure.
Replace the thermostat gasket.
Pretty much has to be a blown head gasket.
its coming fron the engine Had the same issue and while yes it is from the engine not sure if there is anitifreeze anywhere else :) The source was the lower intake manifold gasket was leaking, common on this engine... I was lucky and it did not leak into the oil. The gasket does not cover the front and rear of the block, that is where the bead of gasket sealer runs up the angle to the gasket. Where the manifold meets the block at the angle is prone to leak. Took me a day to do but I was in no hurry. Hope that helps
