Do the old fashioned thing (and the thing most likely to keep the weight off), exercise and eat right. No magic pill or fad diet will work permanantly. Stay active, add good things to your diet and you will see the pounds come off. You don't have to give up the things you like, just eat a little less of those fatty foods and add a little more of those foods you know are good for you. Eat a fiberous breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day so make it fiber! If you need snacks between meals, make it fruit, yogurt, granola, or something healthy. Add dairy to your diet and soy products. Also (MOST important), take a good "whole foods" multi vitamin. You won't find quality over the counter. There are several companies who offer great vitamins, find something with 100-200% biotin (which breaks down fats naturally). Shaklee.com, Melalueca.com, Nikken.com all have good vitamins. You will need to contact a rep or join the company to get them, but it is VERY worth it. I lost 17 pounds just taking the Shaklee vitamins alone - no exercise. It is amazing what balancing my body with healthy vitamins did. I lost 20 more pounds adding exercise and good eating habits. Don't eat too much junk food and drink plenty of water. Try to walk a lot. I walked one mile about 2-3 times a week and it did a lot of difference. Watch what you eat, less breads and junk food, smaller portions, and if you want a piece of pie or cake take just a 1/4 of a piece that way you get what you crave and you will still loose weight, that is how I lost 75 pounds. But you can't sit around exercise even if you are watching tv when the commercial comes on lay on the floor with your feet on the couch and do little crunches till the movie comes back on!
