"Taken for granite"
"Power to the pebble"

You're going about this backwards, I'm afraid. The title comes last, after you've finished your essay. The title should tell the reader what your essay is about. Finish the paper first, then find the right title based on what you've said.
The title should directly reflect the topic of your essay in a clear, creative, relative manor. Avoid using the "Vs." title. These are informal and not creative in the least. Use something along the lines of 2 approaches to...(Theme of Your Essay). --Good Luck!! :)
The format of an essay includes fonts, double space, and heading. It also includes margins, page numbers, title, and indentation.
That title can be handled as humor, as information, or as persuasion. Tip number one, I suggest, is to decide whether you want to amuse and entertain your readers; inform them; or change their beliefs, attitudes, or actions. Tip number two: Where there's a will, there's a way.
The thesis statement is placed in your introduction (your first paragraph). Usually, it is the last sentence that basically states the overall message you're going to present in your paper/essay. It is often better to wait until you have written your whole paper before you go back and write your thesis. Remember: Your thesis statement is NOT the title of your paper.
I Like To Be-
you can call it
A catchy title for an essay on sea world animals is Killer whales want to live free. Another title would be don't cage up the free range sea animals.

What trees give us or Things needed in life :)
IF your getting caught: "Red Handed" IF you get away: "Ocean's Basics"
"NASA, land and space operations" or something like that. =P

"The decent into despair"
no
yup that perfect would definatly catch my attention
Yes because its really catchy for some one to read it. When writing a compare and contrast essay, the best title is a simple one -- "Comparing X to Y" or "A Comparison of X to Y." You don't need "catchy" titles for academic papers.
