The ending to the World Series was some what historical if not one for the ages. In game 7 which was held at Sportsman's Park in St.Louis. With 2 outs in the top of the ninth and the tying run on first, the Cardinals were winning and the Yankees were at bat. As I said with 2 outs Babe Ruth was the tying run on first. He decided to steal second and was thrown out and the World Series was over. The Cardinals had won it. A moment the great Ruth would like to forget.
