There are 3 oceans!
There are 4 oceans that border North and South America (3 oceans each) : the Arctic, Pacific, and Atlantic for North America, and the Southern, Pacific, and Atlantic for South America. There are a large number of named seas, bays, gulfs, sounds, and straits that extend from these oceans, such as the Bering Sea, Bering Straits, Beaufort Sea, Hudson Bay, Baffin Bay, Davis Straits, Labrador Sea, and the Gulf of St. Lawrence -- all of which border Alaska or Canada.
There are two oceans that border Europe. It is bordered to the north by the Arctic Ocean and the West by the Atlantic Ocean.
3 Oceans boarder Antartica. They are: Southern, Atlantic, and Pacific Ocean. The Indian ocean doesn't. (:
Including territories, I believe only 2 countries border 4/5 oceans (the most), but I believe no country borders all 5 oceans. The two countries are the United Kingdom and France, who both border all oceans but the Arctic. But by integral parts alone, 3 countries border 3/5 oceans. They are Russia, Canada, and the United States. (who all border the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic Ocean)
North America is surrounded by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Bering Sea to the east by the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The major oceans touching North America are the Atlantic and Pacific.
