Well without it you would be pretty much jello.

1- The skeleton is the frame of the body. Think of a frame of a house.

2- The bones help protect major organs from being damaged easily.

3- A spine for example is the power cord to the brain, and is very important.

The human skeleton does 3 important jobs;

  • Protection - The skeleton protects many internal organs from being damaged. e.g. the skull protects the brain and the rib cage protects the heart and lungs
  • Support - the skeleton helps you stay upright.

Where can you get a skeleton model about 3 feet high really cheap?

You can find a wide selection of skeleton models at this site. They have a wide selection of mini skeleton models, full size skeleton models, and life size skeleton models. If you are looking to purchase the 3 ft skeleton model than I would suggest either the Short Skeleton Model, Big Tim Skeleton Model, or Mr. Thrifty Skeleton Model. They also have smaller skeleton models such as the Tiny Tim Skeleton Model and Petite Pete Skeleton Model. Whatever size skeleton model you are looking for...they have them available. http://www.shopanatomical.com/Skeleton_Models_Anatomical_Model_Anatomy_Model_s/31.htm http:/www.shopanatomical.com
