Foaming capacity is a measurement of the amount of foam that a cleaner has. Foam loosens dirt.

The foaming capacity of a soap or detergent refers to the amount of foam that can be produced by agitating soap in a container filled with an equal amount of distilled water. After being shaken well, the solution is allowed to sit still and settle. The longer it takes for the foam to dissolve, the greater is its foaming capacity.
