Kent accepts about 80% of its applicants. Out of those applicants:
* 13% had h.s. GPA of 3.75 and higher * 14% had h.s. GPA between 3.5 and 3.74 * 15% had h.s. GPA between 3.25 and 3.49 * 19% had h.s. GPA between 3.0 and 3.24 * 31% had h.s. GPA between 2.5 and 2.99 * 7% had h.s. GPA between 2.0 and 2.49 * 1% had h.s. GPA between 1.0 and 1.99 Based off that, if you have at least a 2.5 you should have nothing to fear about acceptance. But as you can see, even people below that were still accepted.
If I remember correctly the average ACT was 21. Not sure about the SAT.
College Board the organization that administers the SATs, makes information on various colleges available on their website (see related links).
In particular, they note that at Kent State University 50% of incoming freshmen had SAT scores of:
Critical reading: 460-570
Math: 460-580
Writing: 450-550
If you're above the top numbers there your chances are pretty good. If you're below the bottom numbers... not so good, but 25% of entering freshmen had scores below that. Presumably not muchbelow that, and probably not all below that, and they most likely had rather stellar performance in other metrics like GPA or class rank, but a Math score of 450 is not necessarily the end of the world.
They usually dont accept people without atleast an honnors.
2.5
18 Act in state but they are extremely leaniant depending on your personal resume.
You would need a score of at least 31, but that doesn't guarantee it. You still have to compete for it.
3.3
The SAT is not used for graduation, but for university entrance. To get into a top university you need a score of at least 1400 or above.
The ACT is scored out of 35, so this would probably be considered a low to average score

It used to be 1550, but the score has changed. The upper 1% will do it.
