I don't know the average GPA to get into Howard University. But you definitely need to get decent grades. A good GPA and a decent SAT score are a must. After you accomplish this, start thinking about ways you can separate yourself from the competition. Extracurricular activates are very important. Lastly, make sure you want to go to Howard University. I know a lot of students that thought they wanted to go to their dream school, but when they got in and went to that school, they were really disappointed. A bachelor's degree in most areas can require between 120 to 128 college credits particular to a specific program of study.
