What type of minerals are biotite and muscovite?

Generally referred to as micaceous minerals, biotite and
muscovite are silicate minerals having perfect basal cleavage. They
both contain most of the same elements, just in different
quantities. However, biotite is soluble in sulfuric acid and has
iron and magnesium in it, where muscovite does not. They can be
found in all types of rock.
