There are a variety of cities found in Washington State that have Native American names. Some of these include Tacoma, Hyak, Stehekin, Orondo, as well as Walla Walla.

most of which are named after English cities. Some cities named
after English cities are New York, Boston, Dover, Hartford,
Springfield, Salem, and Concord. However, there are also other
cities named after already American cities. This explains why there

Jackson appears to be 3rd, there are 16 cities named Jackson,
although Jackson CA, Minn., & WY. are named for a different
persons named Jackson. There are also 4 cities named Jacksonville,
all named for Andrew Jackson.
There are 17 cities named Cleveland, although a number of them
(including the largest Cleveland, OH) were not named after Grover
Cleveland.
