The french do mostly the same as we do they visit there family, open presents, they also have dinner with meat and cakes but they have there own cakes which they make so its like the same but sometimes can be different.

∙ 11y agoIt is quite common to decorate homes and most French set up a Christmas tree. Children put their shoes under the tree or near the chimney, for Santa to leave the presents nearby. On Christmas Eve it is frequent to gather (family, friends) to have a lavish dinner. Some families go to the midnight mass. Christmas Day itself is more of a family day to be spent at home, watching the children play with their brand-new toys.
