Adult cell cloning is the process in which the nucleus of an adult cell of one animal is fused with an empty egg from another animal. The embryo which results is placed inside the uterus of a third animal to develop. Hope that helps! :)

Some of the potential uses of stem cells are to study the way cells function and hopefully that will lead to cures for various diseases like cancer and birth defects. New drugs can also be tested on stem cells to see how effective they are.

What is cell membrane in a cell?

A cell membrane is the outer part of the cell. Its job is to control what goes in and out of the cell. Hope this helped!

What is the cell membrane referred to?

Plasma membrane. The cell membrane also called the plasma membrane or plasmalemma is the biological membrane separating the interior of a cell from the outside environment.

When was cloning invented?

this is really where but when, I hope it helps. 'The modern era of laboratory cloning began in 1958 when F.C. Steward cloned carrot plants from mature single cells placed in a nutrient culture containing hormones. The first cloning of animal cells took place in 1964.' Yeah but it has been going on before that. Not cloning physically but the idea has been around for years. And I believe individual cells were cloned in the very early 1900s

What functions do cell membranes do?

cell membranes monitor what goes into and out of a cell. only animal cells have a cell membrane. hope this is ok

Could a leech be born from a goldfish?

I believe not. Unless scientists do some weird cloning thing, that's not possible. But I hope not. That would be really weird.

Does a cell have to have a Chloroplast Nucleus and a cell wall to be a cell?

Yes a cell has to has all those three things. The reason is that they work together to make the whole cell. Hope I could help :)

What do you do when a 10 year old has fellated you?

If you are an adult and you allowed a 10 year old to do this, you are a felon. I could say that you'd better hope that no one reports you, but on the other hand many who read this will sincerely hope that someone does.If you are a minor and you allowed this, you had better hope that you can stay clear of the circumstances that led to this, and that you can deal with this appropriately before you find yourself flitting from prison cell to prison cell. And most convicts don't have much tolerance for pedophiles.

What are the side affets to clone animals?

when saying symptoms meaning stuff clonage might do then clonage can actually might help cancer and other types of diseases by getting the healthy part of organism and cloning it to cure and clean

What are the advantages or cloning?

With the successful cloning of animals, many people have reacted with frightening and usually judgmental ideas about what cloning is and what researchers hope to achieve through it. Many wish to ban all cloning without even looking at the positive things that cloning will be able to provide for us in the future and with continued research. Like any new technology, people are at first afraid, but this is no excuse to abandon research that could one day save millions of people through cloned organs or give an alternative and safe means of reproduction to sterile couples..Did you ever imagine having a child that is the exact replica of you? Did you ever imagine of having the cure for heart disease or cancer? Well, these fantasies are not far from reach. The way we could peruse these is through a process called cloning. There are many advantages and benefits including being able to save endangered species and have children if you're infertile. Firstly, one benefit of cloning can be used in the future of the medical field. Heart disease is the number one killer in the United States. Scientists predict that in the near future they will be able to clone healthy heart cells and inject them into damaged areas. Next, what would you do if you were unable to produce a child naturally? Modern science has made it possible to produce a child through cloning. For many people who are unable to have children cloning provides these persons with the hope of having a biological child of their own. Cloning can also be seen as a means of having a child without having sex. Cloning can effectively reduce the number of people with STD's. In addition, using the process of cloning, in the future we could save endangered species by replicating them and therefore increasing their population and keeping it far from extinction

What are the 3 organelles in a plant cell that are not in an animal cell?

Good question. My class acutally finished a lesson like this. I know that in a plant cell, there is a cell wall, and chloroplasts that are not in an animal cell. Although I'm not sure of a third. Hope I could help!

Is a large adult foot 1 foot?

I would hope not, but I'm sure one could be. It would be a very large foot though.

What are the three types of cloning in simple form?

- Well, so far there are two types of cloning. One is embryo splitting which involves removing the genetic material of a fertilized egg (zygote) with the genetie material of a different life form, the you implant it into a female mammal. The second way is called Nuclear transfer technology this involves removing DNA from an unfertilized egg (oocyte) and then you inject the nucleus that contains DNA to be cloned. Rarely the newly developed cell will divide properly, replicating the DNA; at this point it is still in a 'pluripotent' (stem cell) state, if the cells are then placed into a uterus of a mammal, rarely the organism develops. I hope that this answer helped:)!
