In the US, it's generally:
age 5-6: Kindergarten
age 6-7: 1st grade
age 7-8: 2nd grade
age 8-9: 3rd grade
age 9-10: 4th grade
age 10-11: 5th grade
age 11-12: 6th grade
age 12-13: 7th grade
age 13-14: 8th grade
age 14-15: 9th grade
age 15-16: 10th grade
age 16-17: 11th grade
age 17-18: 12th grade
Though this can vary a bit. For example, some US states have later cutoff dates for starting school. Usually they want you to be 5 by September 1st to start kindergarten (which is right around when school starts, and usually not more than a couple weeks into the school year) but in a couple states the cutoff is as late as December. So in that case the youngest kindergartners will still be 4 and not turn 5 till Dec., then in 1st grade they will be 5 and not turn 6 till Dec., etc.
And also, some kids may get held back and have to repeat a year of school if they are struggling, so they can end up being a year older than "normal" in these grades. For example, if a child struggles in 2nd grade and ends up having to repeat it, then they may be 8-9 for their second time in 2nd grade, then 9-10 in 3rd grade, etc.
Generally between the ages of 5-11 or 12. (Many elementary schools only go up to 5th grade, in which most students are 11 by the end of the year. But some school districts also have 6th grade in elementary school, so in those cases it's up to age 12).
Generally 5-11 years old, if it's a typical elementary school that serves kindergarten through 5th grade. Some elementary schools go up to 6th grade though, which means there would be kids up to 12 years old.
9th: 13-14
10th: 14-15
11th: 15-16
12th: 17-18
Kids are kids until they turn 18. There are different phases of children; when they are 6-14 years old, they are considered children. Children are "teenage kids" when they are 15-18.
Age 4 is the most common age to start school.

The answer to your question will depend on what ages you define "Kids" as.
most kids are in 5th grade and date but my choice is to allow them to start at middle school ages
The normal age for 3rd grade is 8-9 years old. But kids could really be anywhere from 7 to 10, considering some kids have to repeat a year and get behind, and then some kids are ahead or have late birthdays before the cut-off date.
Degrassi is a high school so the kids are in from 9th grade to 12th grade.
All ages.
Usually age 11 or 12, since middle school starts in either 6th or 7th grade in most places. There are some places now that have 5th grade as the first year of middle school, so in those places kids are only 10 when they start middle school.
is for kids in 5 grade
Well, it depends because different school districts have the grades grouped differently. Most commonly, it goes like this: Elementary School: Kindergarten through 5th grade (ages 5-11) Middle School: 6th through 8th grade (ages 11-14) High School: 9th through 12th grade (ages 14-18) But sometimes it's: Elementary: Kindergarten through 6th grade (ages 5-12) Middle: 7th and 8th grade (ages 12-14) High: 9th through 12th grade (ages 14-18) Or Elementary: Kindergarten through 4th grade (ages 5-10) Middle: 5th through 8th grade (ages 10-14) High: 9th through 12th grade (ages 14-18) And, this used to be the norm back in the older days, and is not common anymore, but some school systems do still do it like this: Elementary: Kindergarten through 6th grade (ages 5-12) Junior High (not middle school): 7th through 9th grade (ages 12-15) High School: 10th through 12th grade (ages 15-18)
Kids that have a hard time with math take it in 10th Grade, normally kids take it in 9th Grade. Advanced kids take it in 8th Grade. I am in 8th grade, and take algebra 1 at my school, because I am qualified for it.
