Kittens should NEVER have children... Just like people.., if the kitten is not mature.., birth defects can become a factor... Also intelligence will be harmed... Cats should reproduce at around 2 - 4 years of age... This would be the equivilent to 25 - 42 in human years... Although cats can become reproductive at the mere age of 6 months of age (9 years old in human years).

∙ 15y agoThis is a vet question, not a grooming question, but having had cats and kittens for years I would say no, that gene probably has not kicked in yet. But I would call my vet to be sure.
