It is rated '15' by the BBFC.
It is the 5th installment in The Elder Scrolls series.
Unlike the ratings from the ESRB in North America, which are only advisory, the BBFC ratings are enforceable by law, and UK retailers may face hefty fines if they sell to anyone under the age of 15.
According to the BBFC the rating is because of the "strong violence" the game contains.
It is for a PC but we can be sure it will be the same for both 360 and ps3.

If you meant the BBFC age rating (presuming you are in the UK) it is a PG. Hope this helped! Josh
Well, it's age rating is 15 from BBFC and 18 from PEGI. So depending on what store you get it from, it can vary. But if you're getting it from a UK store it is most likely to be 18.
So far there is no official rating from bbfc though PEGI have rated it an 18+. Accordng to the bbfc website the makers of Black ops cut 2 acts of strong violence which will hopefully lower it to a 15. If bbfc do rate it 15 PEGI are likely to change their rating.
The ESRB rating is Mature. The PEGI rating is 18. The BBFC rating is 15.
18+, read the BBFC rating

Do you mean genre? Or do you mean Rating? Rating would be in England anyway BBFC. Genre would be up to the director/producers depending on how they market it.
