There is no set age for a male to get an erection. But for most it happens around age 12 or 13. Possibly age 11. But there are such things as late bloomers. For these particular guys they may not get their first erection till their teenage years. If even after this point you dont get an erection you would probably want to take a trip to the doctor.

There are times when you may not be able to get one. This could be because you are very drunk or drugged. You may have a psychological disorder which causes erectile dysfunction. This is quite common. It has nothing to do with age though.
