It depends if you are 9 and you like to play sports or you work out and get all sweaty, then yes.......But if you just want it to be cool then don't because when you get older it's just a hastle

There is no age to start using deoderant.

But note that deodorant is not very healthy for the skin, so you don't want to use it when you're still young.

Nobody needs deodorant. And deodorant gives a curious but bad side-effect:

Bodies all have different smells and it is those smells that our bodies use to attract or pick a lover that fits us well. If you really like a person, you like it's smell as well. That is because someone's smell is like a map of someone's personality. Unconsiously our bodies are are checking out other people to find a good lover. It is as old as mankind but also animals do it (think of dogs smelling each other) and even plants (a bee is attracted to a flowers smell). We do not really consiously smell each other, but it happens without us knowing it.

Now, if we all wear a lot of deodorant everyday, our bodies become confused and picking a lover or people we like is only based on our eyes and ears, and they can be deceived. But of course we need them as well. We need all our senses. Many deodorant using couples that reach the stage in their relationship where they both fart in bed and smell eachothers sweat, begin to break up because they don't like each other anymore. It is actually the smell that told them. And the deodorant that fooled them in the first place.

So my advice: If you use deodorant, do it moderately!
