it depends on which part of the earth- at the beach or in a valley it would be more dense but on a mountain it would be fairly thin

How did rock affect the formation of earths layers?

As the earth formed, the heavier, more dense elements sunk toward the center, while the lighter, less dense ones stayed near the surface. The result was layers of rocks of similar density.

Does Venus have an atmoshpere?

Yes, an incredibly dense one. Mainly of carbon dioxide it is about 90 time more dense than the Earths atmosphere.

Roughly 71% of Earth is covered by water and because that is well over half there is more water than land on Earths surface

How does the density of air in a deep mine compare with the air density at the earth's surface?

Air is compressible (i.e. when you squish it it gets denser). This means that the air at the top of the atmosphere is less dense than the air lower down in the atmosphere because the weight of the air above squishes the air below it. If you go up in a lift in a tall building, your ears 'pop' because the air at the top is less dense than the air was at the bottom. As you go down a mine there is more air above you than at the top of the mine shaft so the air gets progressively denser the deeper you go. At the bottom of the mine the air is, therefore, more dense than at the earth's surface.
