∙ 8y agoFirst of all, raccoons are not related to bears or pandas as most people think. Raccoons belong to the procyonidae family which are all New World omnivores. Included with the raccoons are its cousins coatis, kinkajous, olingos, olinguitos, ringtails and cacomistles.
