There are a long list of animals that are legal to hunt, check the wildlife or game agency in your state. Each state has their own laws about dates, legal hunting methods, and what species, but white tailed deer are common, in some states you can hunt bear, elk, moose, antelope, bison, rabbits, quail, turkey, squirrel, wild hogs, ducks and geese, sand hill cranes (very few states) woodcock, snipe, crow, black birds, coyotes, bobcats, and in many states, anything common animals that is killing your livestock. Best to check with your local government if you intend to hunt.
