The two types are Terrestrial and Jovian (However there are now three)
NOTE: Older texts and teachers still refer to Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune as Gas Giants. This has been changed since the Voyager flypast.
Aside from Dwarf Planets, which are a new classification, the two main types of planets are "terrestrial" (inner) planets, and "gas giants" (outer planets).
The smaller "rocky" terrestrial planets have solid surfaces. They are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
The much larger gas giants are the outer four planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, adn Neptune. Uranus and Neptune are sometimes referred to as "ice giants" because of their slushy lower atmospheres. The gases are actually extremely hot in the deeper parts.
Earth is a large terrestrial planet commonly known as a rocky planet.
there are many types of planets some are exoplanets dwarf planets and inside planets and outside planets.
it is one of the inner planets and it is a terretrial planet, meaning it has life.
in my opinion the planet types i know is rock dwarfs, gas giant, dwarf planets, hot Jupiter's, carbon planets, water planets and i think finally there are something called planemos
terrestrial or 'rocky' planets
gas giants
There are 2 types: inner planets (4- Mercury, Venus, Mars and earth) and Outer planets (4- Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune
Gaseous and terrestrial.

Rocky planets and gaseous planets.
Many kinds. their are Lander that crash into planets, orbiters orbit planets, rovers move and study the planet, and deep space probe fly away to study the Universe.
the inner planets are made of rock, ice and other materials while the outer planets are made of different kinds of gases except for pluto.
it give us the info about the differnt info about planets and kinds of it

Astronomy, Glaciology, exo-planets.
They are mostly different kinds of gas.

"solar system" is the term used to describe planets orbiting a star. We know that planets also orbit binary and tertiary star systems, these would be different kinds of solar systems.
Jovian planets or the 4 most outerplanets except Pluto and niburu but are planets -.-

im asking them . im not really good at science
because nathan has abright hair
In the solar system, we have a star, planets, dwarf planets, asteroids, comets, meteors, and human debris. (such as old satellites, probes, etc.)
