a wildfire can start if anything that is lighted catches fire and burns dry grass, then it starts to spread. they can also be caused by lighting storms and people throwing out cigarettes. mostly caused by wild causes :)

A wildfire spreads in several ways:

1. Dry vegetation or lack of moisture lures the fire to new locations.

2. Wind blows the fire around.

3. Burning debris is swept up by the wind and lands in a new place, setting that place afire.

These are only the most common methods as almost anything is possible with fire.
