Cut back on spending. Pay your bills. If you don't have much income, then get a job, or get a BETTER job.
The most important factor is that you know what money you're receiving, and know what you are spending. The biggest problem for most people is that they are unaware of what they are spending. A few Starbucks lattes a week can really add up over time, and it's easy to not pay attention to these details.
In a single word, "Budget".
At its simplest, you'll need a small notebook and a pen or pencil. EVERY TIME you spend ANY money, write down the date, the amount spent, and what you spent it on. 75 cents for a soda? Write it down. Three bucks for parking? Write it down. $9.50 for a movie, $6 for popcorn and $3 for a drink at the theater? Write them all down. Most people are shocked when they finally realize how quickly the money flows through your fingers.
After a month, examine what you are spending money on, and how much you NEED to be spending money on these things. Then you can start to make a plan, to limit your spending.
there aren't and good ways to use credit
The first thing you should do is to contact each of the 3 credit bureaus. They can help you correct any errors that you have on your reports.

You can spell it 3 ways: Jamia, JaMeah, and Jameah

You need three free credit reports so you can compare and contrast them all. You need them in order to determine a correct and much more accurate credit score.
In the state of Illinois, the record of bankruptcy filing remains in the credit bureau for 10 years. Additionally one can correct errors on his or her credit report by sending a letter to the Credit Bureau (certified mail), with a description of the error, and a request to correct the error. The Credit Bureau must correct his or her report within 30 days or explain why the report is correct. That person is entitled to place a written statement as part of his or her file. The Federal Trade Commission regulates all 3 credit bureaus.
