In the context of cellular Biology, ATP stands for adenosine triphosphate - which carries a form of energy (chemical energy) that cells can use.

NADPH stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate - which is a reducing agent involved in the production of lipids and nucleic acids.

ATP: In the light dependent stage of photosynthesis the energy received from the sun is stored in the form of ATP, so ATP is simply an energy carrier for the reaction that takes place in the light dependant stage of photosynthesis. ATP is also passed from the light dependent stage to the "dark" stage or the light independent stage to be used as energy in that process aswell. NADPH: NAD is a co-enzyme carrier molecule, so it carries ions to different stages of a chemical reaction, NADPH is simply an NAD carrier molecule carrying both P (Phosphorous) and H (Hydrogen) ions to a different stage of the photosynthesis reaction where the ions will be used and NAD will be left over.
