It's a common circulation coin worth about 20 cents.
As of December 2014, Ireland's economy is recovering from a recession. It is not in great condition, but it is improving and should continue to do so in the coming years.
It would have to be from an alternate universe because the U.S. did not print any $2 notes with that date. 1963, 1976, 1995, 2003 are the most recent dates and all are worth only face value if circulated. They might retail for about $3 if they are in crisp, uncirculated condition.
There's not nearly enough information for us to answer this question. Your best option would be to take it to a local coin dealer for an appraisal, since the condition can make a great deal of difference and most non-professionals tend to seriously over-estimate the condition of coins (professionals are REALLY picky about the details). It also depends on the current value of silver.
As is the case in so much of life, the answer is that it depends. Certain dates and mintmark combinations are valuable (for example, 1909 S and 1909 S VDB, 1914 D, 1922 Plain, and 1931 S are the key dates, a dozen-or-so others are known as "semi-key"), and in general coins are worth more the better condition they are in ("better condition", by the way, also means "not cleaned" - cleaning a coin is a great way to destroy value). A 1909 S VDB in Brilliant Uncirculated condition is worth several thousand dollars. A 1957 in circulated condition is worth two or three cents - the value of the copper contained therein. As I said, it depends.
The general enconmic condition in this country is bad. It is rapidly declining. Some say we might be heading into another depression.Answer:Bad, and will get worse for a bit. It will improve, but I don't think we are going to see great big boom years like in the past. This is the "beginning" of the end years of the world. That means economies, weather, civility of people, are going to go downhill, and quickly, until Jesus returns, which is just around the corner !
