Any drug or medicine can cause side effects particular to the individual. If you have any side effects as a result of taking Zoloft, you should inform your doctor immediately.
Lexapro has fewer side effects than Zoloft, such as dry mouth/ eyes and sexual dysfunction.
Relacore and Zoloft may have side effects. It's important to ask your physician this question.

Yes, you can mix Zoloft with Excedrin. Mixing these two drugs should cause no negative interactions or negative side effects.
Yes, I took cough medicine last weekend while on 100mg of zoloft daily and had no side effects.
The only comment concerning this interaction is gastrointestinal but otherwise no known side effects.
It works differently for everyone. I felt positive effects after about a week of Zoloft and continued to slowly improve the next few weeks after that as well. Side effects also lasted 3 weeks :(
Prozac and Zoloft are the safest to take while pregnant, so I would assume they are the safest. Wellbutrin has the least amount of side effects, and usually no sexual side effects.
One third of patients experience a major depressive episode when discontinuing Zoloft. Other withdrawal symptoms include irritability, anxiety, and sweating.
hey are there any side effects of tanning while taking zoloft? i have crazy red bumps that itch when i tan at the tanning bed. and i have tanned for a whole 30 day once a year for the past five years, and i have never had problems. i went on zoloft about 6 months ago for mild anxity... so could zoloft be the cause of my itchies?
none in my experience. zoloft is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), whereas wellbutrin is a reuptake inhibitor of primarily dopamine and norepinephrine also. all three of these chemicals are associated with mood, appetite, sleep and pleasure, so its just about finding the right one for you. I had ZERO side effects while changing medications. When coming off Zoloft, it is very important that it is done gradually. The side effects of coming off too rapidly can be very frightening.
Zoloft may take up to eight week for the effects
It is not advisable to mix Zoloft and hydrocodone. Hydrocodone has adverse effects such as nausea and dizziness while Zoloft is meant to be an antidepressant.
yes you can. I took both of the together not that long ago. I had no side effects and my doc said it was fine
I take 50mg Zoloft and 37.5 of Wellbutrin together every morning. It doesnt seem to have any additional side effects taking them at the same time.

You should avoid benadryl because of cumulative possible side effects (anticholinergic effects). Use another antihistaminic (second generation) like Reactine, Claritin, Aerius, etc.. instead of benadryl. These effects might be tolerable if you're young and taking a low dose of Zoloft... but use something else if it's possible..
There are a long list of Zoloft side effects that have been discovered over the past few years. Most common are the one's associated with birth defects. These are cleft lip, pulmonary lung, neural-tube defects, club foot, ventricular septal defect, anal atresia, persistent pulmonary hypertension and infant omphalocele. http://www.zoloftsideeffectsandbirthdefects.info
lower dosage 25 to 50mg every 2 weeks. if should cut down on most side effects. also if you are going down by 50mg and get side effects you may want to to it by 25mg instead.
Maybe zoloft was not doing the expected effect; or their side effects are too strong. Also he could take this decision because effexor XR acts over serotonine AND norepinephrine; is more activating and "energyzing" than zoloft. Zoloft is the gold standard antiperessant in axious-depressive patients, OCD, social phobia...anxious disorders in general
Well the drug in cold and cough medicines that makes you "trip" is dextromorphan or DXM for short. Taking dextromorphan with sertraline(zoloft) can cause serotonin syndrome, which is pretty dangerous and the medicine information that came with my zoloft says it can be fatal. I also think that your not supposed to take adderal with zoloft either, probably for the same reasons, but Im not sure about that one. Just google drug interactions between the things you might be taking. Gotta be on the safe side with medicine!
