The advantage of having a test tube baby is that you can have a test tube baby even if you are post menopausal, are suffering from premature ovarian failure, have blocked tubes or even unexplained infertility. Even men with oligoaesthenozoospermia can have babies via the technique called ICSI.

Changing their diapers. There is no indication that test tube babies are prone to more illnesses, or become otherwise socially mal-adjusted in some way. Along with conceiving life outside the body, come the questions of "are they people, what are their rights, and is selection of and embryo based on its sex or other genetic characteristics moral?" Because to not bring them all to term is murder, based on the "pro-life" viewpoint.

Test tube babies formation involve fertilization in vitro (that is in test tube, glass). The advantage of this is couples that unable to copulate successfuly. Artifically it can be done by taking a donor egg and sperm in test tube. And let the zygote / embryo form and develop upto a certain stage and implant it back into the host mother (actual mother, who was unable to fertilize by natural means)

When the baby is kept in a test tube?

The term "test tube baby" does not refer to a baby that is kept in a test tube - babies are much too large to fit into test tubes, even aside from the fact that there is no reason to put a baby into a test tube. The term refers to the origin of the baby. If a zygote is produced by in vitro fertilization (rather than by sexual intercourse) then if that zygote is implanted in a womb and grows to become a baby, it qualifies as a test tube baby.
