You can play as characters from multiple final fantasy games (though not all) in games such as final fantasy dissidia 012: duodecim.
Final Fantasy X-7? no. there is Final Fantasy 10-2 which is the sequel to Final Fantasy 10 (and is the only actual sequel in all of the final fantasy games) and there is Final Fantasy 7, but there is no Final Fantasy x-7. the games may be made by the same people but do not relate to each other in anyway other then the fact they are Final Fantasy.

No, All final fantasy games are different. if you pick up final fantasy 7 and then get final fantasy 8, there's going to be a change in: characters, time zones, worlds, etc. the only real thing that's the same is the magic system. spells like fira, firaga, thundara, etc. are found throughout all the games. If you're new to final fantasy, i suggest you play final fantasy 7. it is the top rated ff in the world!Final Fantasy 7 has a storyline followed through by several games, on multiple platforms.Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-II are the only games in the series to be direct sequels; the 7Compilation is more of a focus shift.

No, it can't. Only the 20GB, 60GB and the earlier 80GB (none of them are in production) could play the PS2 Final Fantasy games.
yes it can :) i have them all on my ps2
The creators are currently in the process of constructing all future games.
presides from all the final fantasy games. other games created by square enix or square soft like kingdom hearts or dragon quest are suited to final fantasy players. or atlas games like persona. there's other titles such as Valkyrie profile or the bouncer. any RPG really.
Yes, the final fantasy all the bravest does work.
It all depends on the style of gameplay that you prefer, and the type of games that you are used to. If you are familiar with older-RPG games, then Final Fantasy should be understandably challenging, but easy to figure out. If you're NOT familiar with these types of games then Final Fantasy can be quite difficult and sometimes aggrivating. Over-all; Final Fantasy is a great game. With special classes and jobs, weapons and monsters and so much more, Final Fantasy is easy to get used to and very addicting. The only hard part of most Final Fantasy games are the extremely challenging boss battles. They will knock your socks off, so to speak. Just try it out, I'm positive that you'll do just fine.
All of them are hard, but in my opinion, Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy X, XII, X-2, VII Dirge of Cerberus, XII Collector's Edition, & XI Chain of Promathia Expansion Pack, Final Fantasy XI: Treasures of Aht Urhgan
the world ends with you all final fantasy games all sonic games and all super Mario games
In terms of a plot line, the Final Fantasy games don't coincide with each other at all throughout the entire Final Fantasy series. In separate however, there are a few of the games from the Final Fantasy series that have had further installments, i.e: -Final Fantasy VII + Crisis Core + Dirge of Ceberus + Advent Children. (Shinra, Cloud plotline) -Final Fantasy X + Final Fantasy X2 (Yuna and Tidus plotline) However there are a few other games by Square that link some of the popular characters into another plot all together, i.e: Kingdom Hearts 1 + 2, featuring characters such as Squall, Cloud, Yuna and Wakka, etc. Also, i think there is a new platform combat game where the 'good guys' from the Final Fantasy series fight against the 'bad guys' from the series and they all coincide with each other there. I may change this later if i can think of anything else. =]
Arguably, Final Fantasy VI or VII is consider the best game in Final Fantasy series. Although Final Fantasy VI get little more praised, Final Fantasy VII is more loved because its wider appeal.
