Why or why not the US did the right thing in this cold war flare up?
What the usa does wrong is if there is a threat or attak( which to get out is extremly horrible and a threat to there alliences. Example, japan was fighting the war for a long time and the usa only took action after pearl harbour.) the fact that they use more force then peace tactecs. Is why the us clearly DID NOT do the right thing. "Make peace with the enemy not war " said gandi

What event set off the chain of events that started World War 1?
Archduke Ferdinand, heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary is assassinated by Gvrio Princip, a Serbian from Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia. Austria wanted money or an apology of some sort from Serbia but Serbia would not take blame or give them money. Austria-Hungary said were gana declare war with you if you don't apologize and Serbia basically said bring it on. Serbia was alliences with Russia and Austria-Hungary was alliences with Germany. Now 4 countries are in the war-Austria Hungary and Germany vs. Serbia and Russia. It continued to grow where the allies had allies and their allies had allies etc. The 2 competitors were Allies: Russia, Great Britain, France, Ireland Findland, Serbia, Italy, Romania Central Powers: Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottomen Empire, Bosnia, Bulgaria U.S. joined the Allies later on their own descision

What are the best money making methods for noobs?
Find other noobs and form alliences with them and tell them to recruit more noobs, (kinda like a pyramid effect) until you are the leader of millions of noobs and go chop trees down and tell them to give you the trees to in exchange for armour but dont give them anything, and now you just conned millions of noobs to chop thousands of trees to sell on the grand exchange.

Asked in World War 1, History of Australia
What are the arguments for and against Australia's involvement in World War 1?
The argument over not going to war was that 1. we had no alliences and 2. the mothers didnt want their beautiful child killing someone elses beautiful child and for going to war there was 1. this was our mother country that was being defeted and needed our help, 2. If we didnt get involved we couldn't prove to Britain that we are a strong country even though we were only 13 years old at the time. Hope this helps.
What were the causes of World War I?
Good question, ww1 actually resulted from European countries having secret alliences the ones I can remember are that Germany was with Austria Hungary, and France was allied with Serbia. But war broke out when the Austrian Arch Duke was assassinated by a serbian nationalist and in response Austria went to war with Serbia inturn Germany declared war on Serbia and France declared war on Germany but Britain joined the war when Germany invaded the neutral country of Belgium.
Asked in World War 1
How did industrialization and nationalism in europe help lead to world war 1?
Imperialism was actually the big thing. So many countries wanted to expand and gain new territories and colonies (imperialism) that it lead to disputes between countries: the imperialistic one and the one getting taken over. Many countries already had alliences with others, so when two countries started fighting, their allies got involved. Then THEIR allies got involved, and so on and so forth.
Differences in alliences in world war 1 and 2?
Both world wars had Germany on one side and Britain, France, the United States, Russia, and China on the other. Differences include the fact that the Russia of World War I was the imperial Russian Empire while the Russia of World War II was the communist Soviet Union. Countries that changed sides include Turkey (for Germany in World War I, neutral in World War II), the Austro-Hungarian Empire (for Germany in World War I, no longer existed by the time of World War II), Italy (against Germany in World War I, for Germany in World War II), and Japan (against Germany in World War I, for Germany in World War II).
Asked in World War 2, Italy
What did Italy look like before the World War 2?
Italy was not a single country, it was divided into two due to the sepperation of the alliences. Your spelling is terrible. Italy was not a single country, it was divided into two due to the separation of the alliances. In the late 1800's Italy was a colonial power, ruling places like Somalia, Libya and others. After the first world war there was a socialist revolution in Italy. The king of Italy made an alliance with the leader of the National Socialist party. Benito Mussolini. Mussolini banned all political parties and curtailed personal liberties, thus forming a dictatorship. Italy was invaded in by the allies June 1943, leading to the collapse of the fascist regime and the arrest of Mussolini. In September 1943, Italy surrendered.
Why was NATO set up?
okay well this is all i know; basically it was because Truman wanted to get as many countries as possible to join it, aswell as Germany; because once in the NATO, you cant have war with each other. i mean, you're allies.they even invited Stalin (but he rejected them, due to the American hatred there) , which was a clever act from Truman to avoid the cold war. However, the NATO was also set up to strengthen its powers. because if you faced America on its own, yes it was powerful, but not as powerful enough. so getting all these countries to join with make them super strong, leading to other countries to be scared of them and not start war. basically it was an act to prevent another world war. however, when Stalin sets up the Warsaw Pact with the countries it has overtaken, trumans idea of non-war peaceful world was kinda destroyed. because it was now like NATO vs Warsaw Pact. two of the stronegst alliences ever. i don't know more cos we're just stduyign it. but i hope it helpsss. xx.
