Unlike 'biscuits' in the UK, which refer to what Americans call 'cookies', Pillsbury biscuits are an individually portioned type of bread. They are sold in a can and can be easily baked in just a few minutes. The biscuits are quite delicious and simple to bake and serve well with roasted beef or breakfast meals. The dough can also be modified to include other ingredients and make excellent, quick doughnuts when deep-fried and sprinkled with powdered sugar, cinnamon-sugar, or dipped in frosting.
