It depends where you are. In the plains a moose would eat grass. The moose benefits and gets food, the grass dies. You should pick a specific biome.

Symbiosis is a close relationship between living things. Here are some examples:

  • Lichen - the fungus and algae have combined to make one symbiotic organism and cannot survive on their own
  • Mistletoe - this plant lives on another plant
  • Nitrogen-fixing bacteria live among some plant roots to help them absorb nitrogen from the soil
  • Clownfish and Anemone - the anemone protects the clownfish and the clownfish drives other fish away that might eat the anemone
  • Bacteria living in the human intestine that help us digest food
  • Goby (fish) and Shrimp - they live in the same burrow and the goby warns the shrimp when predators approach, then the shrimp protects both of them
  • Tropical Ants and Trees - many ant species in the tropics have evolved with certain trees so that the ant lives inside of the tree and protects it from predators
