There are a tremendous number of facts which could be stated about the subject of outer space; it is a large subject. Space is very large; the observable universe is roughly 14 billion light-years in diameter (and for all we know, there is even more space beyond the point that we are able to observe). Space is mostly empty. There are lots and lots of stars, planets, and other objects located in space. Outer space has no air, so if you go there, you have to take your own air with you if you want to continue to breathe. When you go into space you will get away from the gravitational pull of the planet Earth and enter into a weightless condition (even if you are in orbit around the Earth). The lack of air enables small objects to move very quickly without burning up as they would in an atmosphere, so micro-meteors are a hazard in space. Solar flares are also a hazard since you are not protected by the Earth's magnetic field when you are in space.

scientists believe that mars was hit by an asteroid and now it is lopsided. and Pluto is no longer a planet it is now a dwarf planet. it is also the coldest of all the other planets. And Uranus has a ring just like Saturn. only Saturn has more rings. Anyway Uranus was tipped over and now the ring goes vertical instead of horizontal.
well, there are many of them so i dont now which to choose but 1 about jupiters moons may have life to real aliens.

1) Space is a vacuum.

2) Space is very large (supposedly of infinite size).

3) Space can be referred to as the space-time continuum.

4) Time in space is relative to the observer ( If someone is near light speed in an environment with little or no gravity, that person will age slower and experience time faster than a person on earth.)

5) The most common element in space is hydrogen.

6) A person will not survive in space for longer than 2-3 minutes without protective gear on.

7) Water is common in space relative to other molecules, especially close to earth's range in any solar system.

8) An Astronomical Unit (AU) is one earth distance to the sun.

9) A Parsec is equal to 30856802500000000 meters.

The moon moves away from the Earth about 3.8 centameters every year. any piece of metal that touches in space is on permenetly. Light reflecting from the moon only takes 1.2822 seconts to reach YOU!!!
