What are facts about the Tennis Court Oath?

The 3rd estate met for their regular meeting only to find their normal meeting place could not be used that day so they moved the meeting to the nearby tennis court where they took the tennis court oath which said they would not split up until France had a new constitution where everyone would be equal in status.

Only one person out of the 577 present refused to take the oath.

It was the First stand against Louis XVI.
