There was MANY disease at Gallipoli, such as trench foot, Dysentery, diarrhea, common colds, flu, frostbite, etc.
Dysentry and diahorrea.
They faced pests like flies and rats. The rats were very dirty and tended to eat the dead bodies off as well as running around the trenches

Although popular belief is that Gallipoli is better than Kokoda, many like me and lachy and Amelia disagree. Gallipoli was half way across the globe and kokoda was much closer to home and Australia and an imminent invasion threat. Gallipoli was also a stupid failure while kokoda was a legend. Flies themselves don't kill people, but some flies may carry diseases that do.
Some are venomous, but they are not vectors of disease like flies, rodents, roaches, etc.
It was bad. Men got sick in droves, especially with dysentery (diarrhea). With all the corpses rotting the flies were thick, and the flies got in the food. There was also sparse water.
None, but they cause many.
