It depends on the recipe. There are many different types of paella.
Typically, the main ingredients of the paella you get from the freezers in the supermarket are white rice, seafood, green vegetables and chicken.

However the original recipe used when the dish first originated also contained rabbit meat, land snails, beans, saffron, rosemary and lemon, as well as the above.
Some other varieties also contain chicken liver, artichokes and peppers.
