The quality of a Warrior Cat name is actually subject to many factors.
The first of these factors is your own personal taste. Some people like certain names that others despise. You'll have to accept that what you like might not draw the same excited giggle from another person.
The second factor is the role playing game or story environment you wish to use that name in. Since you'll control the naming conventions and accepted word lists for a fan fiction, I won't discuss that in depth here, but I will talk about RPGs and names on them. Some games set forth rules about what words are and are not acceptable. For example, Children of StarClan, will not permit cats to be named for gemstones or using the human seasons while other games permit such practices. Be sure to honor any naming rules at a game you're joining.
The final factor to consider in picking a quality name is the cat itself. A timid cat without the drive to attack wouldn't make a good "Boldheart", and a cat of large stature with little stalking ability wouldn't make a good "Softstep". Keep in mind the personality and abilities of a cat you're naming. Names that make no sense for a character are amongst the first things you'll get called on either as a fanfic writer or a role play character submitter.
It took me a few days to think of the best names I could possibly think of.
My favorite: Goldenmist
OTHERS:
Spadefang_ the warrior cats don't know what a spade is. What are they? Twolegs?
Firespeckle- a good name but with names. They don't have to be over exaggerating. Think... what would Erin Hunter do?
Icetalon- good.... still... think back to Firespeckle. Try not to make them to dramatic. Still. I like it.
Antpuddle~good, but that doesn't make sense. Warrior names reflect looks (first part of name) and then personality (last part of name.)
So basically this cat is a very small cat with.... a puddle?
Jaggedfang- sounds like a rogue. I like it.
Starspeckle- oh no, this is against the naming code by far. Cat's cannot be named 'Star' at the begging of their name. What would they be if they were a leader? Starstar?
Starpath- same as above.
Snakefang-good
Leafpool-already in warriors
Skypath-ok
Skydream-eh...
Sandstorm-already in the books
Lavapool-cats don't know what lava is.
Lavastorm- same as above
Stormcloud-LOVE IT
Stonepath-eh..
Ghostpelt- cats don't know what ghosts are... well they do but no cats has ever been named after one.
Coalfur-perfect
Bloodfang- sounds like a rogue, pretty good.
Wildshadow-unlikely but not impossible
Wildfeather-same as above
Wildstream-same as above
Poisonpelt-cats aren't named after poisen
Oakstream-good
Goldenshadow-good
Goldenmist-good
Sundapple-good
Riverstone-ok
Thornclaw-perfect
Swiftwind-good
Crowfeather-already in the books
Darkember-eh.... ok.
Darkflame-ok... eh... ew. it's alright just unlikely
Frosttalon-cool
Mistclaw-i love it,
Dappletail-perfect
Nighttalon-it's ok. But what's with all of the talons?
Drizzlepelt-awsome!!! Best one yet
Flamefur- awesome.
Like them?
These are great but there are a few invalid ones, that are incorrect.
Corrected and rated by: Awesome Random Person (Erin Hunter) Just kidding I'm not Erin.

Hawktalon
i say Heathertail, Crowfeather, Jayfeather, Lionblaze, Ivypool, Leafpool, Sandstorm, Adderfang, and my fav cat.........................Tawnypelt! these are what i think the best warrior names!
Well I can't give you names but I can tell you how to make good names
Look at the cats appearance and personality. Think of a name itself, like night or flame. Then think up a warrior name like heart or pelt. But be creative, don't use the ones I just gave you because they're mine. Lol. Like sumthin like flowereyes or leafvine. Also make sure they're not in the books, so no speckletail or tigerheart.
I'd say from the books my faverote names were ..................................................
Snowfur , Silverstream, Sunfall, Fireheart, Leafdapple, Sandstorm, Leafpool, Tigerclaw (sutes him veary well , and sounds veary treachourious ) Echosong, Snowbird, Whitewater, Dawnflower, Brightheart,Whitestorm, Lionheart, Bluestar, Spottedleaf, White-eye, Oakheart, and Squirrelflight
I do love a lot more names but that will take too long sorry for misspellings
Some really great names would be: Mistyclaw, Shelltail, Morningdew, Lovesong, Fallowreal, Rivertail, Shadowheart, Flowertail, Mistyshell, Sparrowtail, and Moonshadow,.
Kestrelwing
Sunnybreeze or Daisypetal could be good warrior cat names for a light brown she-cat.
Yes, those are suitable warrior names for a gray tabby cat in a fantasy or role-playing setting. They sound unique, nature-inspired, and match well with the cat's fur color and characteristics.
I don't know what a "warrior cat name" is, but how does Lioness grab you?
Some evil warrior cat names could be Shadowclaw, Darkfang, Bloodpelt, or Nightwhisper. These names suggest a sense of darkness and danger, perfect for a villainous cat in a warrior clan.
I have heard many times that there's three authors to the Warrior Cat books, but what are the names of those people?
It really just depends how she looks like or what's her personality. Here are some examples. Silver she-cat: Silverheart Orange she-cat: Sandpelt Black she-cat: Nightshine Tortoiseshell she-cat: Spottedpool White she-cat: Whitepool
Here are some I personally like: Smokesong, Graycloud, Featherfur, Dustclaw, and Fogpelt.
Some good loner names for a warrior cat could be Ash, Raven, Sage, or Thorn. These names give off a solitary and mysterious vibe that suits a cat living on its own.
Some good names for a silver warrior she-cat could be Silverstrike, Moonshadow, Frostblade, or Silvershade.
Good first names for warrior cats: Lionheart, Stormtail, Ravenwing, and Thornclaw. Good last names for warrior cats: heart, fur, pelt, and claw.
