The only times I know that they are aggressive are: 1. when you put a different type of gecko in the same tank. (I have heard of some that are ok) 2. if you put two male leopard geckos together. (females are normally ok) 3. they are very aggressive to crickets! :)
Leopard geckos are one of my favorite reptiles. They can lay around all day then run like crazy when they see a cricket, they have tails that if threatened can drop and then grow again, they have such a funny personality, they can go for weeks without food, they have a huge viriaty of morphs, they can be handled by people, they hunt at night so they pretty much have night vision, and are all around very awesome creatures. (Hey, I even have my own pet leopard gecko!) So if you ever ask me I would say YES leopard geckos are very cool!
i have 2 geckos, one is an adult female and one is probably 8 months old or so. the little one is not friendly, he has tried to snap at me (they can't really bite that hard), and does not let me touch him or move him out of the cage. the adult female, however, is very friendly, has been with me a bit longer, and lets me hold her and lift her in and out of the cage without hesitation. in fact, when i put my hand towards the cage, she walks towards me and puts her two hands up for me to grab her. I'm not sure if she's an unusual exception for friendly geckos who will stay on your arm as you walk around the house. my little one certain acts much different at his age than the adult female did when i first got her as a baby.
Leopard geckos make great pets. They are fun to watch, and are very low maintenance. I recommend you get 2.
(( giggle )) sorry Iām laughing, this is just dumb, yes leopard geckos are playful BUT they are mostly playful at Night! They normally nap all day :)
Yes but it is an individual opinion.
yes they are
This depends on the individual gecko but most leopard geckos stop biting and hissing about two or three weeks after hatching.
no
Bearded dragons and leopard geckos are both low maintenance, and fairly friendly lizards.
This is some reasons a leopard geckos and Madagascar day geckos can't live together: #1: Madagascars have a different environment than leopard geckos. Madagascar day geckos live in tropical conditions and leopard geckos live in desert conditions. #2 they would be fighting because they are territorial.
NO - Leopard geckos are not venomous. The shape of their eyes is no indication.
Leopard geckos cannot eat spinach, but they can eat crickets, meal worms, superworms, are all great choices leopard geckos like varity so change it up!
No, a geckos leopard geckos diet consists of live feeders such as insects, arachnids, arthropods and smaller reptiles.

Handle them gently and often. Touch their feet, their tails, their heads, etc. to get them used to all kinds of contact.
