These are fine distinctions, but some philosophers define a range of beliefs:
Thiest - certain that god exists.
Weak thiest - acknowledges that one can't be certain, but believes.
Agnostic - neither believes nor disbelieves.
Weak atheist - acknowledges that one can't be certain, but disbelieves.
Strong atheist - certain there is no god.
As you can see, "weak atheists" hold the middle ground - in fact, most atheists are probably weak atheists - they acknowledge that certainty isn't possible, but it is very unlikely that god actually exists.
I don't know for sure, but I guess an agnostic could be in between the two (theist & atheist). An agnostic is neither theist or atheist. Or it could be a Deist.
Non-religious. A person who does not believe in God is called an atheist. A person who doubts the existence of God is called agnostic.
Depends if this person doesn't accept any religion, if not then they are either atheist or agnostic. Athiest's do not accept religion and believe in other theory's but people who are agnostic are basically in-between they are not too sure.
That mainly depends on if you believe in supreme being(s). If you do, then you are agnostic. If you don't, then you are atheist.
An atheist is a person who believes that there is no God. An agnostic is a person who is not sure whether or not God exists or who believes that we cannot know whether God exists or not.
Agnostic is a term for a person that doesn't follow any religion but is open to the idea of a deity of higher power. This differs from atheist, which means person that specifically doesn't believe in religion. Due to the meaning of agnostic, the is no such thing as an agnostic religion.
A person who is non-religious is someone who does not adhere to any particular religious beliefs or practices. They may identify as atheist, agnostic, or simply as someone who does not follow or subscribe to any religious traditions.
Agnostic? I'd say 'non-religious'.
They can be classified as either atheist or agnostic.
Atheist and agnostic positions are not mutually exclusive. Agnosticism is a position of knowledge, and atheism is a position of belief, or rather, lack of one. One can be agnostic atheist, or agnostic theist. I'll answer your question with a question: is there evidence of a God?
Such a person is called an ATHEIST.
They are called and Atheist Atheism. This is utterly wrong. An Atheist is a person who does not believe in the existence of God or gods. What most people mean is that they are agnostic. Agnostic means : A person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena; a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God.
