Leaking injectors, and bad fuel pressure regulator are two things. Get this fixed ASAP. Serious engine damage will occur if you continue to drive it in this condition.

The last Isuzu rodeo Made was the 2004, I don't know why, but the single reason for me may be was the High and expensive cost of fuel, cause It was with only 6 sads cylinders and eats gas like an indigent when you say "there's free food on the Sirloin stokade..." in my recomendation the best model of Isuzu rodeo was the 1991 in line 4 cylinders with 2.6 I-tec Motor...good safer and cheap on gas and the best thing would be the car in standar transmission.

the fuel pump is in the gas tank .take off the gas tank cover which has 4 bolts holding the cover then you drop the gas tank its on the passenger side in the top of the gas tank . but check your fuses for the fuel pump first cause it might just a blown fuse.

User Avatar

There can be three possible causes of an increase in the pressure of a confined gas: -- More gas is pumped in. -- The temperature inside the container is increased. -- The volume of the container is reduced, as with a piston.

User Avatar

It is possible that the fuel pump has gone bad. This can happen if a car runs completely out of gas, never go below 1/4 a tank.

No, the only way changing the fan would improve gas mileage is if you take it off the engine and buy an electric fan that bolts to the radiator ($60 - $400) but its not enough improvement to be worth it.
