Wind, sun and geopower are really not renewables. They are considered alternatives. To be a renewable, a fuel must need to be replenished at a rate we consume it. The sun, for example, is not renewable because we do not provide any form of return to it. While it is not exhaustible during the planets existence, it is still not renewable and is finite.

renewable resources are things we can rely on for power, etc. that will never disappear. examples: sunlight (solar energy), wind power, geothermal. fossil fuels are not renewable, therefore we should try and use more clean renewable energy sources.
