Mining a crashed Shooting Star provides Mining XP as well as plenty of rewards. The first player to 'tag' a Shooting Star that has crashed to the ground earns Bonus Mining XP (no matter what mining level you are). You can mine crashed stars for the Mining XP they provide, and gather Stardust. Once per day you can exchange your Stardust with the Star Sprite who is in the middle of a crashed star. The Star Sprite provides you with several excellent rewards.
