Simple connectives are something that connects two sentences together, inserted of using a comma (,). Examples of the simple connectives are: and, but, or etc.

When it comes to English grammar and sentence making, even authors, make mistakes and connects two sentences with a comma and not a simple connective.

Hope this helps :) peace
